3. Writing text

You can key in text in two different ways, using the traditional text input

or predictive text input (built-in dictionary)

To quickly change the text input method when writing text, press

Using traditional text input: Press the key marked with the letter that you want

repeatedly until the letter appears.

Setting predictive English input on or off

When writing text, press

• To set the predictive text input to on, select a language in the dictionary

options list. Predictive text input is only available for the languages on the list.

• To change back to the traditional text input, select

Using predictive text input:

1. Key in the word that you want by pressing each key once for a single letter.

The word changes after each keystroke. For example, to write 'Nokia' when the

English dictionary is selected, press

2. If the displayed word is the one that you want, press

the next word.

• If you want to change the word, press
