    Automatic defrosting Refrigerator section During normal operation, condensate and frost can form on the back wall of the refigerator section. These are automatically removed by the appliance during automatic defrosting. The condensate is drained away through a channel and drain hole, then fed into an evaporation system at the back of the appliance.

    Stainless steel surfaces can be treated using a proprietary conditioning agent for stainless steel (available from the Miele Spare Parts Department).
